HiBrew Grinder Not Grinding — Three Checks Before a Fault Claim

Why isn't my HiBrew grinder grinding?

Before raising a fault, three quick checks:

  1. Hopper isn't empty — sounds obvious but happens. Top up with beans; if the grinder still runs but no beans flow, tap the hopper gently to dislodge static-stuck beans.
  2. Burrs aren't jammed — a foreign object (stone, coffee-bag tie, metal fragment) can lock the burrs and trip the motor. Unplug the grinder, remove the hopper, and look into the burr chamber with a torch. Dislodge any foreign matter.
  3. Thermal cutout hasn't tripped — extended grinding can heat the motor; let it cool for 15 minutes and try again.

If the grinder still won't grind after these steps — or if it's making unusual noises, smells hot, or sparks — stop using it immediately and email support@fixcoffee.in with your order number and a short video. Don't attempt to open the motor housing yourself; it voids the warranty.
